Established in 1930, this renovated blue Victorian style building on the east end of town offers gifts and treasures not found anywhere else. Owner Penny Price bought Harvey's not only as a full service florist and greenhouse, but to offer anyone who walks through the door a whimsical place to visit and enjoy. When customers enter the door, they're greeted with the simmering aroma of potpourri in the air.
 
Harvey's giftshop offers everything from English style bouquets and imported Genie bottles to unique jewelry and hand made Tiffany lamps. Penny has been making changes to meet customer demand over the years. The business features a large showroom full of goodies. She travels throughout the country in search of unusual items and keepsakes.
 
The showroom (giftshop) contains silk and dried bouquets, wall swags and offers custom designed arrangements to meet every consumer's need. For those looking for special gifts, Harvey's offers jewelry, dolls, plush, glassware and many unusual gifts not found elsewhere.
   

 

 

 

 

 
Foliage plants are a mainstay at Harvey's, with fresh products arriving daily. The shop has three greenhouses full of seasonal plants and offers a nice selection for the customer to choose from whether it is poinsettias at Christmas or bedding and vegetables in spring. While most of us in Allegany County are trying to get through the cold, winter months, Harvey's is busy planting geraniums, mums, impatiens and numerous Spring bedding plants.
 
Set aside at Harvey's is a special room just for planning weddings, parties and special occasions. Offering a nice selection of rentals, including silk topiaries, ivy garlands, silk trees, candelabras, glass candle holders, a Victorian letter box and many other unique items. Wedding flowers and receptions are a specialty of Harvey's.
 
For those who prefer to do their buying from their home, Harvey's is ready to meet needs. They offer full service over the phone. With a dial to our shop, our talented designers are ready to meet all your needs. Whether its fresh bouquets, fruit baskets, blooming plants, or special gifts, they will help you select the perfect gift for that special person. Also, you may place orders by telephone during evening hours to help serve you better. The shop offers daily deliveries throughout the tri-state area, including Cumberland and Frostburg, six days a week.
